Name; ace sales
Age; eighteen
Biography/Character study; ace has always been someone who's cared little for what others think of him. he does what he likes and no one, not even his parents or the ones that he cares the most for, can stop him. his determination is unbreakable, and at times this makes him known as a jerk. but it's not entirely his fault; his single mother had always taught him that if he wanted to accomplish something, he had to go for it. he was raised with this mindset, and eventually, he was able to reach many of his goals through this type of thinking. yet, he was never satisfied with simply trying hard, he was always a perfectionist. there'd never been a time where he'd allow himself to simply slip easily into second place, he'd always wanted to be the best. whether it was in sports, or whether it was in school. his refusal to be second often drives him into madness. however, there is a story to why he refuses to lose. the story began with the death of his father, who had tragically died of cancer. at the time, he was too young to understand what had happened, all he knew was that he could never see his father again. it'd broken his heart, but as he grew older, his mother revealed that at a point, his father had simply given up and refused any medication. she said that he'd preferred to die living as normal a life as he could, but ace was never able to understand. personally, he felt hurt, as if his father didn't care enough for life. he felt as if his father had given up and simply let himself down. for some time, he was angry at his father, but the gentler side of him forced forgiveness form his heart. with all that he'd been through, ace was shaped into a very fierce and confident young man who refused to be swayed from any of his opinions.
Likes/Dislikes;
likes - winning, relaxing, running, competition
dislikes - losing, stress, paranoia, opinionated people (like himself)
Fears/Secrets; ace fears failure. it's his biggest struggle, mainly because he is afraid of having to disappoint his mother, who still struggles with the death of his father. a secret that ace has always kept, is that he once, only once, took steroids to come out on top during a track meet.

Name; betty pearson
Age; seventeen
Biography/Character study; betty is not a complex girl. there is nothing about her that cannot be explained, and she is the epitome of a rebellious teenager. yet, she comes from a somewhat complicated history. her mother is one of the youngest in the neighborhood, yet her father is one of the oldest. the relationship never should have worked, yet their love seemed to carry the two through the judgement and guidelines of what is acceptable. eventually, they had children, four to be precise. betty was the second youngest, and therefore, she became a middle child. in her family, she was rather unnoticed, she was the normal one, yet, in a way she wasn't forgotten in the community. her family was always that one family that was known as the "hippie" household. there were no real rules set by the parents, and the four siblings often wandered the streets at night with no purpose in mind. although they caused no real trouble, they were often spotted with cigarettes and bottles of alcohol in hand. although betty often refrained from partaking in the more "inappropriate" activities that the rest of her siblings reveled in, she was given a reputation of being a trouble-maker. she accepted this title for years, and continued to be present whenever something controversial or dramatic happened. she was never a culprit of anything, but she was never deemed innocent. however, at home she was always the caretaker. she was the one who cleaned and held responsibilities. her parents were of course present, and they were not failures, but she always seemed to hold a more strict and guided hand over her family. in ways, she truly is a mature girl. although there is some truth behind her label, she is a very caring girl who has her priorities set straight.

likes - music, parties, adventure, a good thrill, thrift shops, vintage
dislikes - disappointing others, name-calling, people with no compassion, messes
Fears/Secrets; betty is scared to death of the dark, which is something she'll never admit. and secretly, betty has a slight case of obsessive compulsive disorder, so at home, she often stresses herself out to the point that she'll break down in the middle of a task.
